Below are the twenty four students available to sponsor for the Ascend Academy 2023/24 school year.
Why twenty four? We work directly with up to seventy or eighty students during a school year, so what’s so special about this group?
The twenty four below are the most committed students in the academy. They are there everyday, at every session, pushing each other to train and study. They see Ascend as a stepping stone towards bigger dreams and we want to support them in this journey. Half of this sponsorship will cover your student’s school fees for an academic year in addition to a uniform and school supplies. The sponsored students will continue to have access to the thrice weekly basketball sessions, twice weekly tutoring sessions, and all Ascend events.
This year, your sponsorship will have double the impact. Half of each sponsorship will directly fund the salaries of our amazing teachers, Madam Clara and Mr. Jarju, who lead the after-school tutoring sessions for ALL Academy students
